Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti (ABUAD) has approached the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) for a $2.5 million grant for its initiative in youth agriculture empowerment and agribusiness.
ABUAD, which received the leadership of IFAD in the university at the weekend, said the facility it is seeking from IFAD “is targeted at stimulating agribusinesses to benefit the larger rural communities in Nigeria and Benin Republic.”
